Available in a variety of handle materials such as maple, aluminium and nylon, with a choice of several tonal grades with each type of mallet, Chalklin have the beater for every instrument and musical setting.

Wound in wool yarn as standard, the Vibraphone and Marimba mallets have a extensive choice of beater grade, from hard treble, through rich vibrant medium, to full deep mellow soft. Glockenspiel mallets available in nine grades and weights with beater material options including brass, aluminium and nylon. Xylophone mallets available in four grades of 25mm rubber, four types of assorted diameter plastics and two sizes of Honduras rosewood.

Chalklin Timpani Mallets are ideal for the application on drum kits, specifically made for maximum tonal response from your drums, with soft tones on toms and slow wash on cymbals. ‘Symphonic’ timpani mallets are available in five grades of beater from woodball to soft felt.
